Safe ear cleaning

Cerumen Management

Earwax is produced by the oil glands in your ear canal. When the oil reaches the surface of your ear canal, it hardens into a solid form. Earwax keeps your canals moist and for the most part, does not need to be cleaned out of your ears. However, sometimes wax can build up, especially with regular use of hearing aids, earplugs or earphones. In such cases, wax can be removed safely.

A medical referral is not required. Please contact our clinic directly for more information and to book an appointment. **Please note: If little to no earwax is present, and earwax removal is deemed clinically unnecessary, we will use the remaining session time to perform an additional audiological screening test(s) and offer personalized recommendations to support one’s ongoing hearing health.
